The Tuffrider helmet’s carbon fiber shell not only means it is strong and lightweight, but is also an attractive helmet. We love the multi-vents to help keep your head cooler while riding. The helmet is very comfortable (and the lining is removable for easy washing). The helmet is also made with Coolmax lining to wick moisture. Back dial rotates to expand and contract to give you a precise fit. We feel like some of the online photos of this helmet show it really silver, outside in the sun it’s definitely more of a silver grey, but in low lights it tends to be a more dark carbon. Photos don’t do it justice, very nice helmet.

How does the sizing of the Tuffrider Carbon Riding Helmet Run?

The helmet technically runs true to size based on the measurement however in comparison to most helmet sizing of Small, Medium, and Large, it definitely runs small. Smalls are really for children and adolescents measuring 50-53 cm. Our tester with a 53 cm head couldn’t quite get the small on (was pretty tight), and a medium was a better fit. Mediums run a 54-58 cm, and Larges run a 59-61. Best way to take your measurement is to get a cloth measuring tape and measure about one inch above your brows (or wherever you like your helmet to come to).
