Why can’t you return certain items?

The items restricted for return typically fall into one of these categories:

  • Hygiene & Health
  • Custom Items made exclusively for you
  • Subject to spoilage or tampering
  • Eligibility for resale

Items such as bits, undergarments, blankets, or other items that come in direct contact with the skin surface can potentially transmit harmful substances, bacteria, pathogens, or insects. To protect our customers these items are therefore ineligible for return.

Items such as custom boots, coats, or bridles, are a specific and unique fit not likely to exactly fit another customer. Therefore, would be impractical to resale.

Items such as supplements, grooming products, or other topical products can be subject to spoilage or cross contamination. To reduce this risk those items are not eligible to be returned to our store. We do recognize other stores may have slightly different policies depending on their state laws, and risk assessment.

Items that are returned should be t in the same new condition as another customer would expect to receive them in. This means items that are soiled, show wear, have an odor not natural to the original product, missing tags, incomplete packaging, or otherwise not in the same condition as received means we are unable to resell those items as new. Additionally, those items may present a contamination issue depending on the extent of their condition.

Every customer who places an order on our site agrees to this policy at checkout when they click “I agree” to the terms and conditions of sale. This flyout box also gives a summary of our policy on return and exchanges.

We do the best we can to notify you of our terms of sale in advance so appreciate your cooperation with this policy. Please note employees do not have the ability to make exception to this policy.
