How to measure for riding shirts

- Chest (1): measure around the fullest part of your bust or chest, under your arms, in the bra or base layer you ride in.
- Waist (2): measure around your natural waist, the narrowest part of your torso. Fitted show shirts are shaped here.
- Length (3): from the high shoulder next to the collar down to the hem. Show shirts run long so they stay tucked in when you ride.
- Sleeve (4): with your arm relaxed, measure from the shoulder seam to your wrist bone. For long sleeves, make sure the cuff still covers your wrist when you reach for the reins.
- Collar (5): measure around the base of your neck. A show collar should close with about one finger of room so a stock tie or magnetic collar sits flat.
- Brand charts differ: many show shirt brands use European sizes and fit close to the body. If you are between sizes, choose the larger and check the chart on the product page.

What should I wear in the show ring?
Most English show classes call for a white or light show shirt with a collar and a show coat in a conservative color. Check your show's rules before you go.
What is a sun shirt?
A sun shirt is a lightweight, breathable riding shirt made with UPF-rated fabric to help protect your skin on long, sunny rides.
