Irons
- Measure the widest part of your riding boot sole and add about 1".
- That leaves about 1/2" on each side, so your foot can slip out easily in a fall. Too small can trap the foot. Too big lets it slide through.
- Check that the eye fits your leathers. Most irons take leathers up to 1" or 1-1/4" wide.

What length stirrup leathers do I need?
Most adults ride in 54" to 56" leathers and most youth riders in 48". Tall riders and dressage riders often go longer, and minis use about 36". If you're between lengths, go longer.
Will my leathers stretch?
All leather stretches a little at first. Nylon-lined or nylon-reinforced leathers stretch much less, and nylon and biothane leathers don't stretch.
Webbers or regular leathers?
Webbers fasten with a T-bar instead of a buckle, so there's less bulk under your thigh. Regular leathers with a buckle are easier to adjust.
Can I return it?
