How to measure for riding gloves

Hand around the knuckles	Number size	Letter size
5" to 5 1/2"	5 to 5 1/2	Child
6" to 6 1/2"	6 to 6 1/2	XS
6 1/2" to 7"	6 1/2 to 7	S
7 1/2" to 8"	7 1/2 to 8	M
8 1/2" to 9"	8 1/2 to 9	L
9 1/2" to 10"	9 1/2 to 10	XL

Hand (1): wrap a soft tape around your dominant hand at the knuckles, not including the thumb. The number in inches is close to your glove size.
Length (2): measure from the crease at your wrist to the tip of your middle finger. If your length is longer than your hand measurement, go by the larger of the two.
A good fit: snug with no loose fabric at the fingertips, but you can still make a fist and close your hand around the reins.
Brand charts differ: European brands often run small. If you are between sizes, choose the larger and check the size notes on the product page.
