How should a breast collar fit?
Answered by The Connected RiderThe collar should sit above the point of the shoulder with the center ring at the middle of the chest, and you should be able to slide a flat hand under it. Adjust the wither strap so it does not sag between the front legs.
How does it attach to my saddle?
Answered by The Connected RiderThe tug straps buckle or tie to the front rigging dees on each side of the saddle, and the center strap runs between the front legs to the cinch. A wither strap keeps the collar level.
How do I care for it?
Answered by The Connected RiderWipe off sweat and dirt after riding, then clean and condition the leather regularly so it stays supple. Let it dry naturally away from direct heat.

- Height: the collar sits above the point of the shoulder, so it never blocks the shoulder or presses on the windpipe.
- Room: you can slide a flat hand between the collar and the chest.
