About Fiebing Company
Fiebing Company was founded in 1895 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, by John H. Fiebing, who had worked in the chemical department of a local tannery. Saddle soap was one of its first products, and hoof dressing followed in the days when horses still did most of the hauling. Its plant is still in Milwaukee, and the brand is best known today for leather dyes, finishes, cleaners and conditioners used by saddlers, leatherworkers and riders.
Fiebing's suits anyone who looks after their own tack, from Western riders oiling a working saddle to English riders keeping bridles supple. Here you can shop:
- Cleaning and conditioning: liquid glycerine saddle soap, 100% pure neatsfoot oil and 4-Way Care
- Leather dye: black, dark brown and medium brown for restoring or recoloring leather
- Hoof care: Fiebing's hoof polish for a finished look on show day
